<p>I would highly recommend Richard and will definitely be using his services again in the future. My husband and I have purchased 3 properties using Richard as our agent. He even rented one of our properties for free as a thank you gesture. I wouldn't say we are easy clients by any means, but Richard has proved to be more than accommodating on every occasion and a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgable of the neighbourhoods in the Ottawa and surrounding area, he offers market comparables, and he regularly updates us on market trends. He is very responsive on email and text. You can expect to get a reply same day (oftentimes within 20 minutes or less).<br /> A quality we really admire about Richard as an agent is his honesty. He would walk through a house with us and point out all of the things we should be cautious about and help us "guesstimate" how much it would cost to repair or renovate. On the flip side, he will also tell us when he thinks a house is a really good deal. He's never pressured us to make an offer, which we appreciate. It's clear to us that he cares most about finding exactly what you are looking for, compared to other agents who want a quick sale. He recently spent over a year with us looking for our "forever home", and although it seemed like we viewed 100 homes together (because we were so picky), he showed up to each viewing early (to get a lay of the land) and chipper as can be. He also spent over a week negotiating with the seller's agent to make the deal happen and got the price we wanted. We couldn't be happier with the service Richard provides.</p>

Ever since that first home, Richard has been our go-to guy for all of our real estate needs over the last 23 years. Since that time, Richard has helped us to buy and sell several residential and commercial properties and has viewed many many more with us!</p> <p>We liked him right away for his easy-going, accommodating and extremely patient, no-pressure sales approach. He has always been on time and has driven us all around Ottawa and surrounding areas, showing us properties and going the extra mile to accommodate our needs.</p> <p>We would readily recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor without hesitation. He is very understanding, knowledgeable, professional and accommodating and goes way beyond his duties to make sure you find what you really want. Richard always brought along the previous purchases of the home we were viewing. He also offered his professional opinion when we made an offer and was willing to move forward if our offers differed. I had an amazing experience with Richard. He was my landlord realtor and while he was selling the condo I was living in, he helped me to find and buy my own place. He's very knowledgeable and did lots of research a head of time every time we visited a place.He gave me honest comments and helped me to figure out my best options. He's easy to be reached and very responsive. On top of all, Richard helped me to find a good inspector and also introduced a good contractor for the renovation that needed to be done at my new place. Overall, I had a very good experience with Richard. He's very friendly and nice. I will definitely use his help any time I want to sell/buy any property in Ottawa.

I cannot recommend Richard Pearce enough for any of your real estate needs and transactions. I first met Richard in 2008 when we were buying our first property in the Ottawa Area. In addition, in 2019, he helped sell that property, and also buy a new home even further in the countryside. Not being from this area, and residing overseas at the time, Richard would pick us up and show us the properties we were interested in from the list we generated the evening before. He explained the houses and also introduced us to the various areas of Ottawa. We quickly learned that we belong in Ottawa West. It became very apparent to me that we were quite lucky to have Richard represent us on that initial property in 2008. He is a genuine, caring, and knowledgeable partner that goes above and beyond to help you find/sell your home. When we were looking, he was not pressuring for us to buy - he was actually pointing out the problems he noticed with the home and what the potential costs might be to fix those deficiencies. I noticed other realtors when we visiting houses and most did not do this. Richard's background with the construction of houses really helped in identifying problems - and he wants to share this knowledge to 'help' and 'educate' - not just have you buy. He ultimately realizes that this is a 'home' - not just a property or house, and he fully gets the importance of that. He is a rare breed, who definitely puts his clients' needs first, and has since become a friend from that initial chance meeting in 2008. You can't go wrong if you need a reliable and professional real estate partner in buying or selling your home.

Richard was my realtor when I purchased my condo back in 2012, I also used his services when I decided to purchase another condo as a rental property. I recently decided to sell both properties with Richard and was pleased with the listing prices he suggested. I thought the listing prices may be high but to my surprise we sold both properties quickly and at near listing price. One condo had 3 offers in 1 day and was sold after 5 days of listing it! Richard knows the market well and also negotiates for your interest in mind. He also works with a great photographer, which is key if you want visits. His suggestions were spot on and I found him to be very patient with my numerous questions and delays of deciding when to sell. I was also grateful that he was able to work with my tenants and organize everything without my presence, since I now live in Montreal. Highly recommended, he is a true pleasure to work with.
