Being empty nesters from the boomer generation, we hesitated a lot to make a real estate move, like downsizing. Yes, buying a smaller house and selling our current house. Agent Melanie Giray from REMAX Affiliates here in Orleans was the answer to our prayers. During the past year, Melanie was amazing and professional all the way! She really listened to what we wanted when discussing the process of downsizing from a detached single-family house. Energetic, Melanie was always available for showings of townhouse condos, apartment condos, and bungalows and we saw many of them in the greater Ottawa Area. Melanie was open and honest about which type, size and style of home she thought would suit our downsizing needs and which ones would not. She never tried to pressure us into buying a specific type of home that we didn't absolutely love. With lots of patience in hand, Melanie guided us into purchasing a dream bungalow and selling our current home. We would truly recommend her to anyone looking at downsizing and to first time homebuyers.
