<p>Home-buying is a stressful experience, and most people appreciate having someone by their side with reassurance and advice.</p> <p>But after a lifetime of house moves, I’m not easily impressed by every smiling person who can open a lockbox and fill out forms. I want more. Jim Gallagher *is* that “more” – he stands out in the crowd of ordinary agents.</p> <p>Jim is like a secret weapon for home buyers. I was first impressed by his good humour and patience as I narrowed down my selection of neighbourhoods and homes; as well as his careful analysis of communities and market conditions. When we got to “offer time”, I was dazzled by Jim’s creative strategies to help me gain an edge as a buyer in a frenzied, competitive market. I was amazed to see how Jim worked to carefully position me so that I came across as a “preferred buyer” in the eyes of the selling agent and home-seller.</p> <p>Thanks to Jim, I was able to get the home I wanted in the right location for an acceptable price.</p> <p>Throughout the process, Jim was responsive to my calls and texts, and pleasantly helpful when I had questions or angst. Jim’s positive attitude and humour were contagious -- he made home-shopping a pleasure and the entire purchasing process so much easier.</p> <p>He is good at what he does: he helps people get results. After working with Jim, I can’t imagine using the services of a lesser agent – I tell friends and family that when they’re looking for a new home, they’d be well-advised to have Jim Gallagher by their side.</p>

The process of selling a house is a daunting task and is always a stressful time. This has been the best experience in dealing with a realtor that I have had! We must have seen dozens of houses and not once have we been pressured into making an offer. He is patient and explains the whole process of buying and selling of your home thoroughly. When it came to selling our home he offered staging that would make the house look better. Clearly he knew what he was talking about because we got above asking in just a few days! With having kids it was important to us to sell our home fast because of the inconvenience and Jim didn’t disappoint.
