Richard Pearce is a real estate agent that delivers! I recently connected with Richard to assist in the sale of my single-family home in Barrhaven. He came over to inspect the house and took the time to answer all of my questions and provided suggestions to improve the ambience of the home. Prior to my home being listed, Richard dropped by and took photos that helped showcase and highlight the beauty of this home, including the renovations (kitchen, flooring, washrooms). I provided a laundry list of features of my home (lengthier than this review) and he was able to disseminate this in a short concise summary for buyers to read. The home was listed for $700k and Richard was able to sell my home for 30% over the asking price. His attention to detail, professionalism and expertise in the field are the best in Ottawa.

Richard provided great guidance on buying a new property and selling our current property. He was professional and courteous and has a great sense of humour..his previous career in the construction industry provided us with a unique set of eyes, pointing out things we didn’t notice. He provided statistics from homes that sold in the area that provided us with a baseline in our negotiation process. He is professional, courteous and knowledgeable in most if not all aspects of the home building and buying process. I will be recommending Richard to anyone who is looking to purchase a home or wanting to sell their current home.

As first time home buyers we greatly appreciated Richard's efforts to walk us through the process and take the time to explain and clarify various points. We benefitted greatly from his experience guiding our bidding strategy and managing our expectations in a volatile market. In addition, his background in contracting was of great assistance in estimating potential repairs and future projects. 10/10 would recommend.

Richard helped my husband and I to find the perfect house for us, even in this crazy market. He's extremely knowdgeable. He walked us through the process as first time home buyers including helping us identify the pros and cons of each property. He was very quick to respond and to reach out with new customized listings, and to keep us informed during anxiety inducing bidding wars. Through the covid outbreak and high housing costs , it was important for us to find something that fit our budget , and it has certainly paid off for us.
