<p>Rudi and Trish make a good team - they are both very experienced and think independently enough to balance each others judgement. They are also honest and forthright with their opinions with enough tact needed to keep it palatable.</p>

<p>We had very little knowledge of the area and Rudi instantly made us feel both welcome and knowledgeable. He took a significant amount of time to drive us through the various neighbourhoods and showed us several properties. He constantly kept us up to date on the status of homes in the area. In the end we purchased a great house in a wonderful area, and I can honestly say that Rudi is the only agent in the area that could have done this for us.</p>

<p>Rudi and Trish had excellent local knowledge of the market conditions. As none of us lived in BC (this was an estate sale of our father's house), we needed someone we could trust at a distance to gauge the market. They hit it right on as per value of the property and the estimated increase from our initial meeting to the actual selling period 4 months later. There was disagreement amongst the beneficiaries, which was admirably handled by Rudi and Trish with explanations written in English not agent-ese (i.e. one could understand it); this really helped with the inter-family "negotiations".</p> <p>The actual listing was written better than any I have had before (I was in the military so moved a lot). No exclamation points at all! It was a very TRUTHFUL description of the house and its potential, but did not avoid any of the less than desirable attributes of such an old home. Such matter-of-fact details are a benefit to all potential buyers; I would believe whatever Rudi and Trish wrote about any house.</p> <p>As I live 4 time zones away from BC, having Rudi and Trish as our agents was essential. In effect, they were our property managers, and arranged for maintenance/repairs both inside the house and out, and the selling of the contents and car. These are extras not normally required when selling a house, but in our case were essential - we could not do it ourselves without being there, and even if we were, not being from the area we would not have known where to start or who to contact; local knowledge means more than just market conditions.</p> <p>Working with Rudi and Trish at such a distance was not difficult. Professionalism does not suffer when mixed with informality and humour if the situation merits; they were a pleasure to deal with.</p>
