So, when I decided to sell the property this year, Shella was naturally the first person I thought of, and I chose her as my agent without hesitation. At the start of the year, the housing market experienced a downturn. For the first two months, market was very quiet without actions. Shella still continued to do her best and demonstrated consistent efforts in doing frequent showing and hosting weekly open houses for my home . After each viewing, Shella kept me well-informed about the buyers' feedback, which helped me understand their needs better. Even during the difficult months with no offers, Shella remained optimistic and patient, which greatly boosted my confidence. She also kept me updated on the market trends in our neighborhood and helped manage my expectations in this sluggish market. Eventually, after numerous discussion of the market, Shella has given me valuable advices in taking effective pricing strategy to attract more buyers, and soon after, we found a buyer who offered us a good offer that is favorable to my terms. She really understands the need of the market and the psychology in selling and buying. Shella’s success as a realtor is evident not just in her hard work and high level of professionalism, but also in her intelligence and decisiveness. During negotiations, she advised me how to handle buyer’s offer and strategy to close the deal . I took her advice to heart, and it proved to be the right decision, as the buyer quickly accepted our price and terms. You never know who is going to cross your path until you meet this kind of professional every home buyer is eager to have. We were lucky enough to be introduced to the extraordinary Ms. Shella Chan. Shella is very knowledgeable and resourceful. Beyond her reputation as a winner, she holds our hands from day one of the home search to the day we move in. We are living in Winnipeg and we are looking for a retirement property in Vancouver. Since we are not in Vancouver, during the purchasing process, Shella arranged video sections to show us the properties, she arranged home inspection, she ensured the repair works are performed as promised, she introduced the property insurance agent for us, etc. With Shella’s help, we didn’t have to come to Vancouver during the whole purchasing process. My elderly parents have had the need for Shella's services twice in the past year. Both in purchasing a unit in a seniors residence, as well as assistance in selling their long time family home. As someone living out of BC province, Shella has been able to provide me with varied turnkey resources in support of a smooth & pleasant property purchase/sale transition in-between family homes for my elderly parents in BC. Be it real estate law, general contracting, home inspections, painting, plumbing, locksmiths, HVAC, or cleaning services, Shella has amassed a wide circle of contacts and relationships in support of her real estate services. As a real estate agent, Shella has always conducted her work thoroughly and efficiently throughout the entire listing, browsing and negotiation process. She and Tony marketed my parents' home for a quick sale in a slow Vancouver market during Q1 2024. Shella's ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages and dialects is also an asset when negotiating to ensure her clients' satisfaction. Her responsiveness to my calls or texts in spite of a 3 hour time zone difference was always valued and appreciated. Her ability to patiently listen to a myriad of client questions and requests, all the while trying to advise and teach her clients the complex intricacies of the real estate sector, no doubt contributes to her success in this field. Shella and Tony's work has allowed our family to have minimal worries during an important and stressful time, which allows me to recommend them and their services to you with confidence.
