This is our second transaction with Sally and I cannot express my gratitude for her enough! She was amazing to deal with from the start of the listing to closing - always available to answer our questions and provide us guidance. From the moment the home was listed, she handled everything extremely well and ensure communication on everything. We sold in under 36 hours with multiple offers and got more than list - I don't attribute this necessarily to the market, but the way Sally and her team positioned our home and the incredible photo's that were taken. Looking around our area, there are still a number of listing that have not sold and yet our is and I think that speaks to Sally's expertise and ability to see our vision. Sally is an amazing realtor who is an expert. She knew the market, pricing, and what we wanted. She has been very responsive to all our numerous questions.

Sally first contacted me on Sept 23, 2021 after seeing my add " For Sale By Owner" on Kijiji. I told her that I already had an offer that I considered to be low from a preapproved buyer that was ready to take immediate possession and without the need for involving any realtors. She convinced me that properties in the area were selling for considerably more than the offer I had received and that we could get more. She seemed very positive and so I hired her to represent us. I lost out on a lot of money as a result of hiring Sally. In the end we got only $3500 more than the initial offer I received when trying to sell it on my own. It cost me over $6000 in extra mortgage payments as the house was on the market for around 3 months plus the $14,000 in commission fees for both realtors plus extended payments for taxes and insurance. I don't think Sally ever went to the house after our first meeting. I put a lot of effort and money into painting the entire place inside and out including garage and fencing, as well you could pretty much eat off the floors. As the house was vacant, I went to check on the house several days after a potential buyer had a home inspection done. I was horrified to find that insulation was pulled out of the basement rim joist boards and thrown on to the floor and left that way. They started up the dryer without hooking up the vent and made a big mess with that as well. Upon inspecting the attic they dragged a bunch of blow in insulation back down with them and had it all over the upstairs everywhere. When I asked Sally to get me the name of the inspection company to get them back to clean up the mess, she didn't follow through and really didn't seem to care. Ended up cleaning it myself. She had no sales strategy, and very little input on pricing. We just kept lowering the pricing. There was very little communication with Sally and I mostly initiated contact with her for updates. Two days before the new owners were to take possession Sally informed me that the buyers realtor had snuck in a condition that we had to have the furnace cleaned. When I told her I was not paying for that she reluctantly offered to pay for it herself. I don't know that it actually ever got done. I was at the house the night before they were to take possession and the furnace still did not have a filter. A furnace cleaning company would have put a new one in as part of the service. I did tell Sally I was not happy with the whole process, she didn't seem very concerned though. After the sale was finalized and she received her commission I haven't heard from her again. No thank you, no nothing. For me it was a horrible experience and I lost a lot of money using her. She got paid pretty well for what she did though.

Sally did an amazing job from start to finish. We sold in 4 days after an astounding 39 viewings. As first time sellers we appreciated her unparalleled knowledge, guidance and experience.
