We had SUCH a great experience working with the McLaren team. Hannah and Lisa listened to our needs and desires, and represented us so well. They also work incredibly fast; we found a place within forty-eight hours of arriving in the city! Knowledgeable, quick, helpful, and so so kind, I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

As a form of background, my partner and I recently moved from the UK to Calgary. We decided shortly after renting our first house over here that we don’t like paying rent and not earning equity. So we set up a meeting with Hannah. (Bearing in mind that we haven’t purchased a house in the UK either) so we are international first time buyers. I can honestly say that Hannah is the reason we have been able to purchase our house, we would have been so lost without her. It started with coffee, where she was so eloquent and friendly. She completely understood our situation and empathized with the mountain we would have to climb together. That was in January (when we knew nothing about this process) since then, she took us on a few trips to view houses (while we sorted our mortgage preapproval) and then we agreed to put our whole situation on ice, while we liquidated UK assets. Then recently, around the middle of June we got back in contact and started looking seriously. She has so brilliantly understood us as people from the few days we spent with her that she had lined up 3 houses for us to view – over a two day period. Needless to say, the first one went for WELL OVER asking, the second was a little meh we now own the third one (in the second week of July.) An additional complication, that my partner and I had no idea how to resolve, was the looming expiration of our mortgage preapproval. Which would have been on the 13th July. Given we take possession on the 12th, and the difference in rates would equate to around $700-$800 per month. I can honestly say that not only did Hannah work around this constraint, but more importantly to us, she kept our house affordable as far as the bank is concerned. So thankyou Hannah, for everything. I’m sure we will speak soon! 7*!
