Our selling realtor was also the listing agent for the house we eventually bought, so Erin stepped in as our purchasing agent. We found Erin to be friendly, personable with a great sense of humour and a quick reader of people. She made us feel comfortable at our first showing. Most importantly, Erin pointed out what she liked about the house AND what she didn't like - she didn't force it on us and welcomed us voicing our likes AND dislikes. Erin facilitated several more visits to the house for us and trades personnel. At no time did we feel pressured to buy and the decision was ours alone. Our experience working with Erin to buy our first house was excellent. My husband and I started off not on the same page, and Erin really helped us narrow down what exactly was important to both of us, and find a clear direction. She was patient with us when we wobbled over places, but gave us the push we needed when it was clear to her we had found the right place but couldn't commit. The right house came with too steep a price tag, and Erin managed to negotiate an 11% reduction, despite it only being on the market for 3 days, so it came in on our budget!! Also, Erin has an extremely adorable dog, so clearly she is a good person :)
