Upon making the decision to move to Penticton after more than 40 years in our current location Sergej was recommended to us by a family member. We appreciated his guidance through the process of finding a home from the first day until the last. He took the time to give us a tour of the area, showing the possibilities of the communities in the surrounding area. Once we narrowed our location and selected homes we were interested in, each time we visited he had arranged a tour of the properties. He consistently made observations and asked helpful questions. “This house has poly-b that will need to be removed.” “Why do you think you like that house better? Do you think it is because it was furnished, and this one is not?” “When you started looking you wanted the laundry on the main floor. Have you changed our mind?” “Do you feel that in the floor? There is something that is not quite right.” As people who have not purchased a house in many, many years, Sergej guided us through the offer process. He was supportive and communicated well with us and the listing agents. We made a successful offer on a new build for which we had opted not to do a building inspection. When some concerns came to light, he did a walk through with the listing agent. His concern saved us from making a serious mistake. We learned that even if the house is a new build, a building inspection is always a must! In the end, we succeeded in having our offer accepted on the house of our choice. The support from the office was amazing. Shortly after the conditions were removed, we received an email from William that detailed the next steps with dates attached. Sergej made our trips to look at houses enjoyable and the entire process of the purchase of our new home non-threatening. He is a professional who went above and beyond what we had expected.
