<p>Mark was blessing in disguise for us. I originally met Mark at an open house in January. I was clear when I told him I was only starting to look at a few places to start gauging what house we could buy with what money. I told him we would maybe list in 6 months to a year. We had a great conversation, he took my information and set me up on a Home search with our criteria in the area we might consider buying.<br /> Over the next few months Mark stayed in contact the odd time to just check in and say hi. I was really impressed that he listened, and did not push me, or try to convince me to jump in the market. So when it came time to list our property, it was an easy decision to call Mark and use him to list our house.<br /> Mark showed up at our house fully prepared with local sales from the previous two years. Mark was extremely thorough going through the contract. He explained everything so we understood and included all the rights us and himself had throughout the contract under different circumstances. We both agreed on a price and the sign went up! Mark had an open house in the first weekend. There was good feedback and he followed up with everyone who walked through afterwards and had some good leads. He was very creative in increasing the audience who could view our listing by making a video of our area, and interviewing neighbours and posting it on Facebook. That helped immensely as we did not live in a well known area of Grande Prairie. The market was very slow, but after almost two months we had an offer. Honestly I was not happy with the offer and wanted to reject it, but Mark talked me through it. after a few days of going back and forth with pricing and conditions, we came to agreement and finalized the deal.<br /> Because the buyer wanted to move right away we only had a three week window to find a house, pack up and Move. Mark was ready and we looked at 6 houses the first night. Mark had pros and cons on almost every place we looked at to help us in decision making. A few nights later we looked at 5 more, plus one we looked at months earlier. It was that house we decided to put an offer on. The offer went back and forth for a few days, but in the end, it was accepted and we were very pleased with the purchase price.<br /> Throughout the whole process, Mark was very friendly and professional when needed. I have recommended Mark to two people I know, and used Mark. They were successful and happy with their choice. <p>Mark was very helpful in the sale of our house. He came to us prepared to list our house in our market, knowing what the values were for our bracket, and was always willing to go the extra mile to get what we wanted out of our sale. The market information he gave us provided confidence in our price and allowed us to get exactly what we had hoped to get out of the sale of our home - in less than a week on the market. We also really appreciated the timeline he did up that outlined his plan to market our house and included important dates (like open houses and Facebook posts). On the buying side, Mark made sure we had explored several options before we finally decided to build. Even after we decided on a builder, he was still there to answer questions and make sure we were happy with our new dream home.
