Working with Kelly has been such an incredible experience. She has been my angel these past 6 months, and I couldn’t have gotten through all of this without her support, guidance and hard work. In March of this year I was abruptly thrust into the role of executor for my late mother’s estate. I had never sold a house before, let alone done so under such emotional circumstances. I lived 2 hours from St. Catharines and knew I would need a lot of support with this process, so I turned to my agent in the city I currently lived in, who in turn recommended Kelly Richard to me. To get the process started, Kelly came to the house to walk through and learn about our situation, get to know me (and in a way, my Mom) and see the house and all of the work that would be needed to sell it. I can still remember the end of that long tour, both of us emotional and sealing the deal with a big hug. In such a short period of time I knew without any doubt I had found someone with compassion, an immense heart, someone patient and understanding, experienced in the market and with connections to get us to the finish line. I immediately felt at ease and confident that I could actually do this, take this big final, but necessary, step to sell my family home. Our biggest challenge was that not only was I struggling with grief but I also couldn’t stay in St. Catharines forever to oversee the work that was required to be done. Every step of the way, Kelly was by my side supporting me, taking the time to talk me through things and keeping tasks and milestones moving. She assisted me by connecting me with the contractors we needed and a team of her trusted professionals, organizing access to the house when I couldn’t be there and keeping the flow of work moving. I would not have been able to maintain the necessary momentum on my own, either due to my grief, lack of experience, or distance; but Kelly made it possible to keep going and reach our goals. And we did, in the span of 4 months we were able to get the house fixed up and on the market, and finalized the sale almost exactly one month later. Throughout these final stages, Kelly was supportive and vital as ever - quick to explain, give her advice based on her experience and how the market is currently performing, provide constant updates and do everything in her power to showcase the house to its highest potential.

As we come to the end of this amazing adventure of selling two homes and buying a new one, Kelly has been invaluable in navigating all the many nuances of the real estate market. Her years of experience, integrity, and spirit of helpfulness allowed us to achieve all of our hopes. Kelly exceeded our expectations every step of the way. She has a vast network of connection in the trades and industry which made preparing our home for the market a seamless endeavour. Not only does she do her job with professionalism and enthusiasm, but she does it with incredible kindness.
