My family used Heather as our realtor on a recent house hunting trip. As member of the Canadian Armed Forces a typical house hunting trip is usually a very short timeframe (approximately 7 days) to buy a house. Heather was very well organized and well prepared during our initial phone consultation to discuss what we were looking for in our new home. She kept in touch with us regularly to send us listings and keep us updated on how the housing market was trending. Prior to arriving in Barrie she gave us some very helpful tips to narrow down prospective properties that we were interested in. Throughout the showings Heather was honest and transparent highlighting all aspects of a home. Heather was aware of the market trends in the area which ensured that we were never placed in a position where we would be paying beyond a property’s market value. Heather was a huge help in assisting us with the sale of our grandfather's house. She helped us set realistic expectations of what the house was worth and the reasons why. Heather and her team did an excellent job of staging the home and we had multiple offers and a deal in place about 9-10 days after listing. She made sure that our grandfather was involved in the process as much as possible, which was valuable in allowing him to make decisions on his own with our support. While we dealt with an unexpected extension on the closing date, Heather provided further advice on what to ask for as a result and stayed highly communicative with us and our lawyer until the deal was officially closed. My experience with Heather and her stager was too good to be true. The team came over for an initial walk-through, told me the minor repairs my husband & I could do to maximize profit, staged our house without any extra fees, conducted open houses & our home was sold within seven days of being on the market. The photographer she worked with was also evidently an expert within his field & it came through in our photos. I also work from home and require a confidential workspace. To maximize showing availability, Heather allowed me access to an office within her building. It was truly above and beyond. Additionally, all their showing bookings are managed through a virtual platform, so confirming or denying a booking is as easy as clicking a button. You also can set it to autoconfirm on periods you are away. I am very surprised about how efficient one person can be. She is beyond expert level. WOW! Very friendly, hardworking and with a scarily good eye for detail! She had total control of the situation and was very confident about what she was doing AND for a good reason. Easiest home sale ever, which is saying a lot as we have small children.
