She is tactful, knowledgeable, and I will not use another realtor to represent me in the Waterloo Region and surrounding area. My wife and I met Emily about two years ago and since that meeting, she has helped us secure 4 investment properties! She is incredibly knowledgeable about not only the real estate industry, but the quality of homes themselves, often pointing out areas of concern during walk-throughs. In addition, Emily has been an excellent resource for us throughout our rental property adventures. As a landlord herself, she is acutely aware of many things to consider when it comes to adding a rental property to your investment portfolio. Emily has been our realtor throughout the purchase of several properties. She knows so much about houses in general and has her finger on the pulse of the market, always working so hard to ensure we get the best possible purchase price based on current market conditions. Emily Schuurmans - remember the name. Emily is personable, very knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly, a genuinely good person. During the selling/buying process, I learned so much from Emily. During walkthroughs, she looked for things I wouldn’t think to look for which took pressure off me. It allowed me to focus on the bigger picture which was, could this place feel like home. During the uncertain times of COVID, she helped me find a home that was everything I was looking for and more, all the while staying on budget which was set pre-covid.
