I had 3 realtors appraise our home. 2 were over $60,000 lower than Anurag and possibly just looking for a quick sale. Anurag and his team had our house listed within 4 days from our meeting on a Friday afternoon and he worked till 10 PM the following Friday night closing the sale of our house. 7 days is all it took and we accepted an offer about asking. Very impressive and has a full team behind him taking care of every detail. His years of hard work and dedication definitely paid off for us. For more than a decade I've seen his signs all around my neighborhood. Always wondered, "how good is he"? Finally the time came when I needed to sell my property, so I arranged an interview with him. He is very calm. Unlike other agents who make promises about "top dollars", he doesn't talk much. Instead, he listens carefully and explains the market situation in a neutral way. I ended up choosing him, and he didn't disappoint! He has a pretty big team, and all of whom I have worked with are professional! With that many listings, you can imagine how busy he is! However, he is surprisingly responsive to my messages/calls. He would also regularly send me market updates to help me align my expectation with the market situation. Finally it came the big day when I had multiple offers. The first one was a lowball, which I did not... appreciate... But, he told me he will contact other potential buyers who had viewed this property. Within a couple hours, he sent me 3 more offers. Unfortunately there is still a pretty big gap between my expectation and the highest offer. We had different opinions on how to respond to the offers, after a short debate I decided to let it go, "Anurag, you are in charge! And that's the reason why I hired you!" It was a LONG day! However, one of the offers ended up settling at a good price. In today's market, I would say that I'm 100% satisfied with the final price. As a seller, my reflection is: if you hire him (or any other agent), you should trust him and let him do his job negotiating. He doesn't promise "top dollars" but I believe he helped me get the best result possible in this case. During the interview, I joked: "this is a test to you Anurag, I want to see what can you do as the #1 agent in the area! it could be a one time deal or long term business relationship." The result? He will 100% win my future business and referrals!
